The Leaning Homestead: Maxness Road

| Leaning Homestead If you've ever taken a dusty back road in Valley County to explore or taken a trip to Fort Peck Lake, you've probably seen this before. This is the Maxness homestead located on Maxness road about 15 miles out of Glasgow. It is the only farm left on Maxness Road. Although I do not know much about its history, I find it very fascinating. It is very old, and has survived many frigid Montana winters. It's amazing that it is still standing today. |
